DIY: The Tacky Collared Shirt
This is a very simple tutorial with very little supplies, enjoy!
Supplies: Old T-Shirt, Pretty Fabric, Scissors, One Cute Button, and A Needle and Thread.
Step 1: Cut out two moon shapes for your collar. Mine have two layers so they are thicker. Also, I recommend applying a very little amount of clear nail polish to the edges to keep them from fraying.
Step 2: Line up the collars to the edge of the neckline. Sew across the top of each collar. I simply sewed across both of them.
Step 3: Sew your button in the middle of the two collars. This will hide any uneven-ness.
Presto! You are now ready to wear your tacky shirt! If you notice that your collar is uneven, which I am noticing now, simply trim the edges and re-apply clear nail polish.
Enjoy, and don't be afraid to be silly!

This is seriously such an adorable and easy tutorial! I am in love with peter pan collars and this would be a perfect way to transform my plain t-shirts. Thank you for this! xx
You had me until you said to sew it on there. I'm so uncrafty. I'd just glue it on :p

CUTE! i'm going to do this today, most likely on all my tshirts!
Cute idea, Chloe! It could also be cute on a patterned t-shirt! I may have to try!
Oh my! That is perfect:D
What a cute and easy idea. I have a few old shirts that I should give that a tire on.
