My last four days were spent camping with a few of my closest friends. We had such a nice time!
See for yourself:
The car ride was enjoyable, even though we were all antsy to get there.
As soon as we got there we immediately set up our tents.
Dom and I had ours up super quick because we practiced at his house the day before. (Ha.)
Amanda had a little bit of trouble with her tent..
and she was not happy that I was documenting every moment of it.
Next, we all hit the town to grab a bite to eat. We stumbled upon this weird restaurant called The Golden Corral. Everyone glared and stared. It was quite the awkward experience.
When we got back, we all got comfortable in our new home.
I found the coolest leaf!
And then it rained! But not on our parade! (I'm sorry that was a little bit too corny)
We made hobo pies!
The lake was pretty rocky, but we enjoyed ourselves.
Well, I am pretty sure this is the longest post I have ever made. I had to make sure I covered everything! My friends and I are making this a tradition, we are going camping at a new camp ground every year!
I can't wait for next year!

This seems like such a fun adventure! Sorry about the rain, but it seems like you guys had fun anyways ;) and that leaf is pretty darn cool. Almost skeletal.

i can't believe i've never been camping. your photos make it look so fun.
oh my gaaa, what a rad time! i just love the build up of a car ride to getcha aching for what's to come. looks like the tent sitch was a full recovery ; ) and blast off began well too. the leaf snap is really cool! congrats on this and the new tradition, it's a keeper for sure. ♥
