College Life.

Now that I am in college, I have no time for anything! So sorry I haven't been posting much. I have a lot to balance now so hopefully I will still find time to post. Also, I have been highly considering getting a perm. I know, it sounds crazy, but when I saw the Modcloth video: A ride with Bicycle Belles, I immediately adored the girl with the short curly hair. What does everyone think? Good or bad idea?

Stuff I Luff: Vintage Day Dresses

Even though autumn is rapidly approaching, day dresses are a wonderful thing to have! They look so cute, even paired with a cardigan. They are definitely my newest obsession.

The other day, I actually picked one up from an estate sale down the street from my house.  That was what kick started my obsession. This is thee perfect picnic dress! The only downside is it has a couple stains. I am going to get it dry cleaned and hopefully it is good as new!

Mission Inspiration: Fall Wardrobe

I am so ready for fall! So is Dominick! I have been collecting sweaters and boots in preparation. I just bought Dominick a pair of brown oxfords from Urban Outfitters, and now he is on the hunt for some nice pants to go with them. I am currently collecting items for my upcoming Etsy shop. I am planning on selling this dress, along with many others (Not shown).

Prommity prom (A very very late post.)

I apologize for the tardiness. A long time ago I dreamt of wearing a vintage gown to prom. A long time ago my dream came true. Okay, so it wasn't forever ago, but many months. I never shared with everyone how it went.

There you have it! My vintage senior prom was a success! Dominick even wore a brown tux!

Oh yeah, and did I mention we won prom king and queen?

Treasure in the attic

I went through my attic today on a hunt for potential garage sale items. While collecting my unwanted odds and ends, I came across a few treasures.

Old stuffed animals from my childhood, vintage sewing books, and vintage patterns! My day is made!

Tent Sweet Tent ( A story of 3 days)

My last four days were spent camping with a few of my closest friends. We had such a nice time!

The car ride was enjoyable, even though we were all antsy to get there.

As soon as we got there we immediately set up our tents. 

Dom and I had ours up super quick because we practiced at his house the day before. (Ha.)

Amanda had a little bit of trouble with her tent..

and she was not happy that I was documenting every moment of it.

Next, we all hit the town to grab a bite to eat. We stumbled upon this weird restaurant called The Golden Corral. Everyone glared and stared. It was quite the awkward experience.

When we got back, we all got comfortable in our new home.

I found the coolest leaf!

And then it rained! But not on our parade! (I'm sorry that was a little bit too corny)

We made hobo pies!

The lake was pretty rocky, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Well, I am pretty sure this is the longest post I have ever made. I had to make sure I covered everything! My friends and I are making this a tradition, we are going camping at a new camp ground every year!

 I can't wait for next year!
