Outfit Post and Gnocchi.

Yesterday was my Aunt and Uncle's 25th Wedding Anniversary. I was super excited to wear this dress I got on Friday during a thrifting extravaganza. When I say extravaganza, I mean it. Dominick bought a guitar, two sweaters, and a shirt and I bought three dresses and a pair of jeans. (Yes you heard me right, I actually have jeans now!)

Autumn leaves put me in such a good mood. The colors are just beautiful. I am going to be so sad when they are covered by snow.

Dress: Thrifted
Headband: Handmade (By me! See tutorial!)

I let my brother take some pictures with my camera, he took some of the funniest pictures. Here is part of me and my delicious gnocchi.

52 Weeks of Instax: Wk3

Dom and I went over his grandparents house to visit. His grandma and I talked about vintage clothes and she showed me some of her old jackets. His aunt's dog Honey was over, isn't she so cute?

If you follow me on twitter, then you might have read about my love for a local coffee shop called The Ugly Mug.  We decided to stop there one morning before class and now we are regular customers!

This picture is a bit blurry, but it was from my last day working with Miranda at the Salvation Army. I enjoyed working with some of the people there, and it definitely was an experience I will never forget. But it was time for me to move on and focus on school work...and blogging of course!

I hope everyone is having a happy Saturday!

Bucket-Filler Friday

Okay, So I am starting a new series of posts, called "Bucket-Filler Friday," obviously. The idea came to me one day in thoughts of one of my past English teachers from high school. Anytime anyone would give her a compliment, she would exclaim, "Oh thank you for filling my bucket!" She was such a free spirit and I just adored her. Anyways, every Friday I will be picking a few bloggers to talk about and fill their buckets! Here we go!

Erin is the lovely and hardcore-hilarious behind the blog,  My Beautiful Disaster. Her posts are constantly cracking me up. Her sense of humor is wonderful. I must say, the post where she compared a secretary to Jabba the Hutt, was the best. I was laughing so hard, I was crying. Besides her sense of humor, her outfits are so lovely and unique. She adds sort of a punk element to her cute style, I just love it.
If you are looking for a laugh, check out  My Beautiful Disaster!

Elycia is the brains behind the blog, LoveElycia. I say "brains" because after seeing this video, I am thoroughly impressed with her nerd skills. Her other videos are equally as entertaining. I like that she posts videos because now, when I am reading her posts I can imagine her saying it. (She might have just inspired me to make some videos!) Her sense of fashion is perfect and her hair is just beautiful! She makes me want to dye my hair pastel purple (Maybe that isn't such a bad idea...hmm..).

Paper Sparrow

Andrea is one of the cutest bloggers I know of. Her pixie hair cut is so adorable! I have always been a fan of short hair, and I think she pulls it off so well! Also, if you haven't noticed she is super duper crafty! Check out her dress in this picture, she made it! Recently, she has been using a stamping technique to make her clothing even more lovely. To add even more to her craftiness, she posts daily animal doodles, that I always look forward to!

New hair!

Today I finally went out and got a haircut! I am super excited about it. At first, I was nervous to get the "uneven-asymmetrical" style, but it is everything I wanted.  Woot!

Hopefully the beast on my chin doesn't take away from my hair. I don't like to edit out blemishes, I feel like I look fake when I do that...maybe I am just odd.
Don't forget to enter my giveaway! It ends on October 14th!
