I am on a hunt for a good sewing machine for beginners. I bought a Brother machine last summer and I had so much trouble with it. I had to return it once because a piece got stuck, even though I put it on exactly how the manual said. Then on the exchanged one, it got jammed and there was no way to open it up to fix it. So, I ended up getting my money back, and now I am looking to buy a different one.
This is the one I originally bought:
Please let me know if you have any suggestions/advice on a good beginners sewing machine that has many embroidery stitches. Thanks! :3

I had a Brother sewing machine when I was younger and I agree, not good! Right now I have a Husqvarna Viking and I love it. Mine doesn't have very many stitches, although they do have embroidery machines. Another great brand is Bernina. You should just go into your local sewing shop and tell them exactly what you want, try some machines out, and they'll help you find what you're looking for. Good luck!
