I feel like I am constantly looking and sharing craft ideas and DIYs, but I never do them. I love the idea of making something myself, but I feel like every time I try it turns into a disaster.

This fine art mouse pad is such a good idea. I think I would do a Frida Kahlo piece.

I love mugs and I love floral, so it is no surprise that I love this DIY.

There are a lot of good photo tips in this post.

This wood burned spoon DIY is unique and pretty awesome if you ask me. They would make such cool decorations.


As always, A Beautiful Mess shared this really cool rug DIY that is probably waaaaay out of my league.

WGWT: An Outfit Help Website

I recently became a part of a website called What Goes With This. In a way, it reminds me of Polyvore, but it is so much more. First of all, I find it easier to work with than Polyvore. You simple search for products or find them on the web and enter in a link. I really like that feature. You can find stuff from websites like Etsy and add it so other users can use it as well. Also, you can ask for help with an outfit or help someone else out. I know everyone has that one item that they bought because they thought they would wear it. Then, you end up never wearing it because it doesn't go with anything. 

This is an outfit I came up with. Details: Dress, Shoes, Scalloped Satchel


With this outfit, I helped another member style the colorful oxfords on the top left.
Details: High waisted jeans, Black crop top, White crop top, Flag necklace, Citrus purse

This is another outfit where I recommended a look, for this one I was styling the boots on the top left.
Details: Booties, Collared shift dress, Bar necklace, Leather satchel

Outfit: Sparkle Time

We got to the park a little before the golden hour and were able to capture some glowy photos. I've always heard that it was best to take photos as the sun is going down. I heard right. The lighting is so much easier to work with and your photos come out less shadowy.

I am really excited about the length of my hair! Remember when I had a pixie cut? I can do so much more with it, and it is honestly less of a hassle. I have wavy hair and I used to have to re-wash it every morning to make sure it sat right. Now I can sleep with it in a braid and it looks perfectly fine when I wake up.

I am so excited for it to be full fledged summer. I want to go to the beach, and sit at bonfires with friends, and camp, and drink slurpees (well I do that year round..).
