I'm Baaaaaack!

It has been a ridiculous amount of time since I last blogged, and so much has changed. I kind of fell into a rut and just became bored with blogging. Also, school has been super stressful this semester. I am ready to start blogging again this summer and am super excited! I am currently in the process of redesigning my blog too. You might have noticed that the url changed, that means a new name too! I am starting new. I think that is exactly what I needed, new.

For now, I'll just share with you an outing that I went on with my boyfriend Derek not that long ago. It feels so good to be taking photos again.

Outings
There is this sushi place near us that has all you can eat sushi for lunch and dinner. We literally ate 5 rolls of sushi, miso soup, and a tempura sampler. Needless to say, we didn't eat for like a week. Okay I am exaggerating, I ate a couple hours after but still, you get the point.

I couldn't not post this photo, I look so unamused.

This roll is called the crazy roll, it has avocado, crab, cream cheese, spicy sauce and eel sauce. Oh and it is tempura, so it is deep fried! Mmm.

Outings
A new Salvation Army opened up near us and it is the cleanest and most organized thrift store I have ever been to. The workers are extremely nice too, what is this life?

Yes I did strategically place these awesome purply-pink acid wash jeans so they would be in this photo.

The fake creeper peeping tom shot.

I can't wait to start blogging more! Eeep! I would love to do collaborations too! I am jumping right back on board so email me if you want to work with me!

Outfit: What Rompers Are Good For

I have always had a hard time liking rompers. I remember so many times I would pick up what I thought was an amazingly adorable dress, but then put it back after realizing it was a romper. The other day I realized that rompers are good for bike rides. They are just as breezy as a dress, without the worry that a big gust of wind will reveal your everything.
Romper-Thrifted
Camera Bag- Ebay
Sandals- Thrifted (Bass)
Flower Hair Clip- F21

This was our first bike ride of the summer and boy was I happy. Actually, Dominick bought a bike about an hour prior to these photos. We were beyond excited to try out our new bikes.
I love my new camera bag. It holds everything! I will do a "What's in my camera bag" post soon.

Cheap Dates: Bookstore

I am always trying to find things to do that do not cost a lot of money, especially now that I am saving money for a trip to Chicago. I thought it would be fun to share my ideas!
Where: Barnes and Noble
Cost: Me- $4 Amanda- $8
Outcome: Productive and fun

There was a table that seemed as though it was specially made for us. We found this cute Star Wars book called Darth Vader and Son, and a Cat vs. Human book as well.

We got Starbucks, that was the only expense in this fun outing! I recommend the Black Tea Lemonade, it is the best deal in my opinion.

Amanda and I got a chance to catch up and do a bit of homework. Overall, we were pretty productive. Barnes and Noble has the best atmosphere for working and talking.

We were really happy when the people sitting in these chairs got up and left, I charged over and claimed the seats before anyone could even blink.

We had a really good time! If you have a Barnes and Noble near you, you should plan a day where you read funny books or do homework. Any bookstore would work, I just prefer Barnes and Noble because of the seating areas and the amazing craft book selection.

Prommity prom (A very very late post.)

I apologize for the tardiness. A long time ago I dreamt of wearing a vintage gown to prom. A long time ago my dream came true. Okay, so it wasn't forever ago, but many months. I never shared with everyone how it went.

There you have it! My vintage senior prom was a success! Dominick even wore a brown tux!
Oh yeah, and did I mention we won prom king and queen?

The usual.

Dom and I have a late night Starbucks date every once in awhile. We walk around the parking lot and talk about life. That is how tonight went.

Let us be noble, noble at the barn.

Lately I have spent most of my time at Barnes and Noble with my friend, Ariel. We like the fact that we can mooch off of their heat and reading material, without being thrown out by a grumpy salesperson who calls us "loiterers." There is an old man who mooches as well. Although, he does not much care for the reading material, he just needs a comfy chair to sleep in. (I'll attempt to get a picture, next time) We really enjoy ourselves there. I hope Barnes and Noble does not suffer the same fate as most of the Borders in my area.
