Tattoorary Temporary Tats

Wilma from Tattoorary was so sweet and sent me some of her adorable temporary tattoos. I want a real one sooo badly, but I am a very anxious person. I loved trying these out, it made me feel more ready to commit to a lifelong one. I got many compliments on them and most people thought they were real.



Derek gave floral a chance and put one on his wrist.



He insisted on these psychotic poses so do not ask me to explain them.....He says "real men wear floral."


I really like the way I look with tattoos, they add an extra oomphf to any outfit. I will seriously be looking into getting some one day. If any of you know of a good tattoo artist near the Detroit area, please let me know! In the meantime, I will be doing my research.

Can you tell I am obsessed with this bag?? Well, I am. I have nothing but great things to say about it: Its well made, cute, and fits all my crap in it. It is literally perfect.


It was supposed to rain and the sky did look pretty angry, so I wore my rain boots and a hoodie in case. Ya wanna know how much it rained? Hardly at all. Ya wanna know why? Because Michigan.

This dress has definitely become one of my go to dresses this summer. I never imagined I would love this peachy coral color so much. I am started to be more adventurous with color and I am really enjoying it. No more black and gray for me....well yeah I'll still wear black and gray.

Outfit: I HATE this color

Yeah so I hate or I guess I should say hated this color. It is a weird mix of blue and purple that always has made my eyes sting. My best friend Michal loves this color and wears it on the regular so I decided to give it a chance. Guess what guys, I love this color now. I feel like it makes my hair color pop.


I was just reading Sara's blog and she was talking about how she feels like it is harder to put together outfits in the summer. I totally agree. I feel like I am swapping out dresses and keeping the shoes and accessories the same. Buuuuut, I am pretty darn comfortable.

I think one thing that really helped me like the color of this dress was the fit. It is suuuper stretchy and comfy and it fits like a "fit and flare" dress which is my favorite kind of dress. I like having a little extra tummy room to eat a lot, haha.

Outfit: Windy Cindy

Michigan really needs to get it's junk together. It was so windy and rainy the day we took these photos. Luckily it rained after we left. It will be 80 degrees one day and the next day it is 60 degrees and hailing. I assure you that what they say about Michigan weather is absolutely true.


I cannot get enough of this fox necklace. I feel like I wear it every other day. It literally goes with any outfit.

Since I work at Starbucks, I get to try all the new drinks and flavors before everyone else. The new drinks coming your way are  gonna be delicious...just sayin.


You can kinda tell how windy it was in this photo. Next time I'll just have to embrace the wind. I was getting so frustrated because I tried to curl my hair and the wind got rid of it almost instantly. Michiganders just have to embrace it, ya know?


I feel like I am constantly wearing these shoes. They are the comfiest and I love how they are a mixture of tennis shoes and oxfords. I wish they weren't discontinued, I would buy them in more colors. I had to hunt these down online.

Right now I am relishing the idea of wandering around a health food store, like Derek and I did just last week. I have been super busy, stressed, and sick since then. I cannot wait for the holiday breaks coming up.


I am so in love with the jewelry Wild Thing Studio sent me. They are so delicate and dainty. I know I will be featuring them in many outfit posts to come. Each piece is made with care and thought. I am really so happy and grateful that they sent me these pieces to review.


I finally hunted down a pair of Sophie oxfords in my size! This is the color I had been wanting ever since my sister got a pair like 3 or 4 years ago. Thank you, Poshmark!

Outfit: Out and About

Remember when I said I needed to start taking outfit photos while I am out randomly? Welp, here is my first attempt. I recently got a LG G3 and it takes fantastic photos!We just used that to snap a few pictures of what I wore that day. I feel like doing this will work better with my schedule and also help me to post more outfit posts than usual. I still want to occasionally bust out the dslr to take nicer photos, especially if it is a sponsored outfit or something like that.

Now that my hair is longer, I have been wearing accessories more often. I want to get more headbands like this one! The only problem is I find that they like to slip off of my head. I'm not sure if my head is too small for them or too big.

The sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse are so comfy! They are definitely reasonably priced as well! I love the variety of colors per frame style as well.

This iced soy vanilla latte was so perfect. I want to go back and get one every day. I am going to try to replicate it at work but I think they use a different soy milk that I like better at this local coffee shop I like to go to.

Outfit: Apples & Gingham

When I received this dress, I immediately knew I was going to wear my apple purse with it. What I did not think about was the fact that Derek's mom decorates in apple theme. There are random cute apple knickknacks all over his house, primarily in the kitchen.


Now that I am looking at this photo, I cannot stop thinking of the Twilight book cover, ugh.


Let's talk about this dress for a minute. It is such a beautifully made dress. I am sad that I did not have the opportunity to wear it to an outdoor gathering or picnic this summer. It is suuuuper comfy as well. The material is so soft, it feels like a lightweight blanket. Also, this dress is 50% off right now so I suggest you get yourself one so you have a go to dress for next summer!


I thrifted this apple purse. It was one of those things I just could not leave there. It turns out, it is a designer wooden purse, who would have thought?

The length of this dress is perfect. I feel so lady-like and fancy. Next summer I will be making a point to wear this to a gathering of some sort. Also, see that nasty bruise on my arm? I am pretty much the clumsiest person ever and I walked into a coat/purse hanger on the bathroom door at work. Yep..


I was trying really hard to balance this as you can probably tell by my facial expression.

Derek had the idea to take photos at his old high school. I've never taken outfit photos at a tennis court before....thought i'd shake things up a bit.

This purse is so weird, it is layered so that when you unbutton it it has different sections to put your stuff in.

This dress feels like swimsuit material. I think I like it though, it doesn't blow up as much in the wind. It is a more stiff, structured material.

Outfit: The Pongo Dress

Derek and I headed to Detroit the other day to change his major and wander around a bit. The campus is so pretty. I can't wait to see what it looks like in the fall.

If you get the chance to snag this dress from Forever 21 before it disappears...do it! It is made so well and is so flattering. Plus, it has some stretch so it is suuuuper comfy.


7eleven iced coffees are my jam. I like to mix the two flavors. If you don't like icky sweet iced coffee, then stay away.
