Outfit: Apples & Gingham

When I received this dress, I immediately knew I was going to wear my apple purse with it. What I did not think about was the fact that Derek's mom decorates in apple theme. There are random cute apple knickknacks all over his house, primarily in the kitchen.


Now that I am looking at this photo, I cannot stop thinking of the Twilight book cover, ugh.


Let's talk about this dress for a minute. It is such a beautifully made dress. I am sad that I did not have the opportunity to wear it to an outdoor gathering or picnic this summer. It is suuuuper comfy as well. The material is so soft, it feels like a lightweight blanket. I thrifted this apple purse. It was one of those things I just could not leave there. It turns out, it is a designer wooden purse, who would have thought?

The length of this dress is perfect. I feel so lady-like and fancy. Next summer I will be making a point to wear this to a gathering of some sort. Also, see that nasty bruise on my arm? I am pretty much the clumsiest person ever and I walked into a coat/purse hanger on the bathroom door at work. Yep..


I was trying really hard to balance this as you can probably tell by my facial expression.
