Fruit Filled Summer: Explorer Jamie

Hello hello fellow lazy explorers! My name is Jamie of PaintThe Gown Red and I am thrilled to be here today as part of the Explorer Series, to share with you my fruit inspired style.  I don’t think I could have been more prepared for a theme then this one, for I love fruit! Seriously. I’ll admit I often get my daily dosage in the form of a pie slice, but fruit is fruit is fruit, no?
This fruity frock was a lucky thrift store find and I love it for its 90’s charm. Its incredibly lightweight and comfortable fabric just begs to be at a sunny beach resort somewhere, indefinitely. Hence this is not an outfit to wear when productivity is your objective. But for summertime relaxation, perhaps with a glass of sangria in hand, it’s just perfect.
As an unfortunate member of the sunburn club, a hat is pretty much a staple in my summer style. I found this lovely cloche adorned with vintage daisies at a craft fair a few weeks back, and it is likely to remain on my head all summer.

I really love the dress. Are those trees in your garden? I would love to be able to grow my own fruit but the Scottish climate doesn't allow for a lot of growing, neither does my labrador puppy
