Working at the Salvation Army, I meet a lot of interesting people. The other day, a British woman bought a "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster, and I told her how jealous I was that she got to it before I did. She looked at me, astounded. She said, "I didn't think Americans knew about that."
I proceeded to tell her all of what I knew of it, how it was a poster from the war. She told me that I was very observant, and that the poster meant a lot to her because she lost her brother in the war. She told me that her family would always remind themselves to "Keep Calm and Carry On."
